Russians are petty smart: in order to get a Russian Visa you have to hand in a few papers some time before together with your passport, after approx. one week you get the desired stamp into your document. But in case you are bad organized you can also ask for an faster visa or an express visa; this can fasten up things a lot, with the express you get it within 24h, but have to pay like 200%.
