Being part of the premiere of a new concept can be risky, but if an artist like Seph and a town like Montreal collide, only great things can happen. Or, we just got lucky. Anyway, the first Brain&Booty night was what Seph called ‘the most fun gig I had in North America.’ Period. And if you don’t believe us, here is a very nicely done review of the goings on from our friends at l i t t l e c i t y . Honey, would you book us two tickets to the great white north please?

The end of the world did not come (SURPRISE!), but that doesn’t make this Cesare vs Disorder Beatport Chart less compelling. All the music a true fan will ever need (today anyway). Dive in and buy out!

Violett has been Deep Inside and back, and this time, we have something to show for: Photos, photos, more photos and finally: Photos! All nicely sorted and displayed on facebook. Now say cheese!

The old year is out but not quite dead yet, as this is the time to look back (through rouged eyeballs) and analyze the hell out of good old 2012. And who do find there on Resident Advidor’s Top 100 Charted Artists? Nico Lahs at position 84. That’s quite an achievement and so we are überhappy and very proud. Nico: We love you, the flowers are in the mail.

DanceTrippin calls Nico Lahs ‘A mind focused in the future in every sense‘. While we do appreciate compliments involving futurism, we are more focused on dancing in the very present present, thank you very much. Luckily, Nico’s DanceTrippin podcast from the future is available now, so hit the play button and go trippin’ and dancin’ with us.
Out now is Seph’s latest brainchild, AM02 on Aula Magna. Whip out your Credit Card and head over to decks.de and listen in on the preview clip below while your order is being packaged and shipped.
Being part of a top notch compilation is always something to be proud of, but being actually identified and singled out as a preview in our books is close to knighthood. Dario Zenker managed to do all that (while still looking adorable) with his entry for Frozen Border’s Minutes on Ice compilation. Oh, did we forget to mention, that said compilation is number 4 in Resident Advisor’s Top 30 Compilations of 2012? Dario, we hope we are not spoiling any surprises, but you do like fruit and maybe cake, don’t you, because there’s going to be a lot of it under your christmas tree this year. Better get two trees…

Ade is a French-German mash up word often used in the south-western regions of Germany meaning ‘good bye’, and with Heiko Laux sending in his ADE souvenir shots, we felt it was more than justified to mention this little known fact. Browse Heiko’s shots below and then head over to facebook for the whole shebang! (By the way, stay tuned for more little known facts… we’ll have an impromptu test tomorrow!)

Happy Birthday, Mr. Dickens!
