Obviously we love to use tags… And voilà, our database lists more than 1000 of them! Lovely… but in the same moment a bit sad as some are not used very often and don’t pop up in the tag cloud, hidden away in the depths of our website… so here some of the poor tags which should be used much more often!

We almost forgot: our blog turned 1 year… on the 10th of January. It’s a capricorn, how lovely. 635 articles, 815 tags, … some more details? There you go: first article was about the multiple roles of an booking agent (perfectly proved by this blog!), busiest day was May 3rd, 2011. Most clicked link was our own Podcast at harrykleinclub.de, most people find us via Google and Facebook (not such a big surprise), the most read articles were: ADE. Dario in Colombia. Our artist’s 2011 photo review. Violett’s 88:Q&A. Fabrizio’s Podcast. Ah, and the Family, Friends and Fairies is the also on top of the clicks, but not a “real” article… So, looking forward to article 1000! And a big “Danke schön” to all artists handing in so much content! <3 <3 <3

In order to keep our tag cloud on the left side of the website in shape we had to cut it down a bit, so you see just tags and words appearing, which are mentioned at least two times in a blog entry… so for example … “love” appears 5 times, “Berlin” 34 times and “Madonna“… ?! While chatting with Franco I just found out that no one posted yet something mentioning Madonna… Honestly, this has to be changed! So here we go, a still very fresh remix by Andy Butler and Kim Ann Foxman on their imprint MR.INTL of Madonna’s “Into the Groove”. Phew, two more posts and Madonna is also in the tag cloud ….

In the days of Twitter and Facebook it’s easy to forget that before the 2.0 days, even before Myspace R.I.P, most artists had an own website presenting their music. So it’s more than nice to see that many artists from the Harry Klein Booking Roster start(ed) to move ahead and get an own website or blog, even though some of them encounter slight problems: what is an appropiate URL to represent yourself? Dear Seph sees himself confronted with some serious competition…

200 articles about our artists, their adventures, their music, their charts, theirs passions. It’s a fucking busy day (check article no. 201, 202 & 203 in a few minutes), so the Champagne has to wait … See you on article no. 500!

There are a few things which make my heart as a blog writer beat like hell, for instance a new and proper working WordPress plug-in, a fresh update from SchönereWelt! or nice stuff to post from our artists. In German we say “Alles neu, macht der Mai”, in English it’s “April showers bring May flowers”. And obviously this May all artists seem to be at 100% working, producing and mixing. So today we got a more than cool podcast special, a double feature of our North Rhine-Westphalia / Cologne & Dusseldorf based duo misc. aka Niederflur & Christopher Bleckmann.

First of all a recording of misc.’s legendary live set during the Harry Klein Booking Weekender in January, we remember well the nonstop raised arms of the audience. Download the recording here!

And the second mix comes from 50% of misc.: Christopher Bleckmann moves since a while with his solo project around (see the postings for his 2 debut singles on Break New Soil &  SCI+TEC). This time he demonstrates his talent with a mix he recorded especially for us. Grab this piece of music here!
