Coming this saturday (25th of May) is another iteration of ANA and Julietta’s very own party, Slave To The Rhythm, at Munich’s Harry Klein club. Special guest this time will be XDB (Metroloux | Sistrum) and of course ANA will be there to round out the evening (Julietta is excused as she is on a quest to ignite the dancfloor at Croatia’s Light House Festival). See the flyer below or click yourself through to the Slave To The Rhythm facebook page for even more gory details and a chance to hit the like button just one more time.

Being bootlegged is a sign of appreciation, and in this case also an opportunity to relive a little internet radio gem. Here is a rip of Julietta’s latest Noice! Radio show, recorded in April at Harry Klein, Munich.

There is a wonderful place in Berlin’s southern district of Neukölln called Griessmühle (Griess being the German word for semola, the pasta staple ingredient). Well, actually it is an old pasta factory squeezed in between train tracks, a canal and a scrap metal yard, but it is still wonderful with trees, benches at the water and a lot of handmade wooden wonders. Griessmühle is turning 2 this week and Regen will be doing his best to give it a birthday party it will never remember (in the good way). Dario Zenker will be there too to lend a helping hand to all of you still standing after four days of dancing. Boy, we wish we could be 2 again…

On Wednesday May 8th Regen will be opening the new party series Parallel at Berlin’s Golden Gate. The next day being Ascension and therefore a holiday, we fully expect the night to roll into a very very long weekend. Just remember: Ascending the stairs to the bathrooms at Golden Gate means you have to come down again at some point, and that may prove a lot harder than you might think.

It’s just a rough translation, but the Plötzlich Am Meer Festival has made a name for itself for not just featuring monumental scenery and über-cute toon characters, but also loads of wonderfully weird attendees and – of course – the finest music of any Baltic beach. Starring brightly in the almost white northern August nights will be Cesare vs Disorder and Avatism. Well, we got our ticktes and our swim trunks are hanging over the bed. How about you?

If you find yourself wandering the icy (and we do mean icy) streets of Berlin’s Friedrichshain district these days and would like to have a little time out from saving monuments of national importance, you now have one more (heavily recommended) option: Mister and Misses Jeremy P. Caulfield just opened the doors of their Café and Bar Auntie Benny. Feel like having a look-see first? No problem, just head over to hannaskoog.com for some first hand impressions.

If you ever found yourself wondering just how in the world we are dealing with stardom, glamour and intellectual brilliantness (is that a word?) down here in the bavarian heartland, then this is your chance to get a little wiser: Disco Very sat down with Harry Klein’s PR specialist Tanja for a little video chat and BENNA also dropped in for some deep, deep insights into our darkest booking secrets. An instant classic – too bad Oscar night is already over.

The German Veits Tanz may roughly be translated as dancing mania or St. Vitus’ Dance if you are the direct type, so Sankt Veit at Berlin’s Chalet Club (of former Bar25 fame no less) promises to be quite a night. And whenever quite a night is on the docket, Marco Zenker can’t be far. Prepare for your days of lent to end on Saturday, April 6th, and may St. Veit have mercy on your shoes.

Almost brand new is Heiko Laux’ latest contribution to the Harry Klein Podcast. Heiko is no stranger to Berlin’s Kater Holzig, having played there on several occasions (including the monstrous Bambini Kater Madness! aka Alexander’s thirtieth birthday last year (which is also available as a podcast further down the podcast page), following the cat club’s motto: Der Kater lässt das Mausen nicht – A cat will never spare the mice. Nice! For the complete Bambini! experience, we added some blurry-but-still-gorgeous pictures below free of charge. Doublenice!
