Voilà: Uchi!

After two boys Harry Klein Booking welcomes the first female intern: Isabella aka Uchi! Bringing us more love and wisdome from June 2012 on!

.Uchi!

Uchi, a very particular nick name. Where does it come from?

Uchi is a name made up by my sister when I was born. I think she heard my Greek Grandmother say something similar and then she began calling me that histarically. It was hard for it to be forgotten.

So you live at the moment in Miami and will soon move to Europe. What does your life look like there in the US and what are you going to do in Europe except being our slave? Is it your first time in Europe?

Haha! Life in the US is good, I finally realized tricks in how to make your goals happen in life, and how it will never be easy, I worked and learned a lot… And as far as Europe, it wouldn’t be my first. I went there a few times very young, since then I always wanted to live there. It seems like I belong there and get along well with europeans, since my parents are Greek/Spanish. I will not only be enslaved, I will be really enjoying myself! (plus: I really like a boy I will be with the whole time :D …) (weiterlesen …)

Voilà: Leo!

After checking all the great and lovely applications for our new intern it was very hard to decide, too bad we can not accept more interns. But we are happy now to present the guy who settled the race: Leo Küchler.

Hello Leo, this interview starts seriously: your first day here at Goethestraße, how are you?

Hi Alex, I‘m fine. I‘m really excited about what‘s expecting me the next 4-6 month. I know there won‘t only come up interesting and challenging work… But I think I also can cope with things like making coffee and going out and get meal for everyone.

Very good, after this you can bring me please a Falafel! Just a joke… So, you are 20 years old and just finished school. What do you want to become when you are old? :)

Oh that‘s a question I heard quite often in the last weeks. And this is really getting on my nerves, because I actually don‘t really know. One thing is sure: next year I want to study! Where and what exactly… who knows? I definitely don‘t  ;) ) …

As a Munich born boy, please name our readers three things no one should miss in this city:

Two or three years ago I was sure, when I‘ll have finished school I‘ll move to Berlin or any other more liberal and „cool“ city! But now there are thousands of things no one (especially me) should miss in this city. Three of them are:

- The Isar, one of the cleanest rivers in Germany and the most beautiful place in Munich to relax and go swimming.
- Strangers often criticize the people here in Munich and the rest of Bavaria. But I love them. If you can face them with some humor the people‘s touch of conservatism and smugness can really make you laugh a lot.
- And of course my lovely friends an family. This is what really keeps me here. You should all get to know them at some point! ;)

And if not Munich, what other city would be your choice?

This is what I asked myself a lot of times in the last month. Where do I want to go if I had to leave the city to get a certain study path. I think Vienna could be a good new home for me, not at least because it‘s not far from Munich… ;) )) Also TelAviv impresses me a lot, although I‘ve never been there. Everybody is telling me such good things about the city, the beautiful people and the tasty things you can eat there (both very important aspects for me… ;) ).

How was your summer so far? And what will your August look like? Any festivals?

It‘s my first summer without knowing: „After it you have to do your school stuff again and go to class everyday!“ Now, for the first time in summer, I don‘t care about things like that. So it‘s actually the best summer I‘ve ever had… . No festivals for me in August and also for the rest of the year, I guess. I‘m not that fan of a classic festival with camping, mud and canned food. This June I‘ve been at OFF-Sonar in Barcelona for the first time. And this was bombastic! I had such a great time with a few good friends. That‘s more than enough for this summer!

Multiple roles…

Looking up the term “booking agency” on Wikipedia brings us directly to the article “talent agent“. It describes an interesting aspect of an agency or an agent: multiple roles. Such as booking agent, graphic designer, publicist, promoter and accountant. I would also add some more, (weiterlesen …)
