Performing for a big audience is nice and all, but you never really get to talk much, so it is no wonder Jeremy P. Caulfield jumped at the possibility to talk a little bit about his passions, ideas and the general question of life, the universe and everything. Below you will find fifteen packed minutes recorded in Sidney on Jeremy’s recent australian tour.
Dammit, Janet! While we are trying to get Riff Raff to stop doing the time warp and start shoveling that flaky springtime snow, Jeremy P. Caulfield went down to Melbourne to have a jolly good (and probably much more decent) time at the LAB, Section8. Activate the visual transducer below for the full here-comes-the-blue-sky report.
We seldom get a glimpse of the actual production process, and while we usually enjoy just basking in the essence of weeks of arduous work in cramped basements, sometimes curiosity is getting the best of us. Is pixie dust floating in the air? Are unicorn babies of any kind involved in the process? Is there a shimmering altar holding one of Phil Collin’s old drum sticks? Turns out not so much, but Jeremy P. Caulfield’shome studio is still a sight to behold – even without baby unicorns. We are just wondering if absorbers like these would finally stop our neighbor from calling the holy spanish inquisition every other night.
If you find yourself wandering the icy (and we do mean icy) streets of Berlin’s Friedrichshain district these days and would like to have a little time out from saving monuments of national importance, you now have one more (heavily recommended) option: Mister and Misses Jeremy P. Caulfield just opened the doors of their Café and BarAuntie Benny. Feel like having a look-see first? No problem, just head over to hannaskoog.com for some first hand impressions.
Yes, spring is here in meteorological and virtually every other sense, just the weather hasn’t got the message yet, and that is why Vakant veterans Avatism and Jeremy P. Caulfield are going to hunt it down (and hopefully drag it back kicking and screaming) in the far South – South Africa, to be exact. The duo will take Capetown’s Fiction on Friday, April 12th, and move on to CRU in Johannesburg on Saturday, April 13th. Let’s hear it for/from Africa!
Out now on Beatport is Jeremy P. Caulfield’sremix of Fanatico’s 2000 Light Years from Home. Head over to Beatport for the full monty or listen in below, if you are the prudent type.
