This fall a decent showcase in London took place, bringing over the boys from Esperanza for a furious night: Dario Zenker, Kasper & Papol + London residents Unai Trotti, Alex Cliché & Luis Pedregosa. Check the video documentation below: in hope for the best!
King Club // Livorno
1001 // London
And here are his photo impressions of both cities…
The Esperanza family will be coming together for a decent label showcase, apart from little beggar Mr. Zenker Dario we have the parents of the family at the table, Kasper and Papol. And some farer relatives, Unai Trotti and Alex Cliché. Who will say the grace?

The annual Ibiza mix compilation from Cocoon comes this year with a mix by Adam Beyer on CD1, while CD2 was mixed by Dorian Paic. Giving a listen to both mixes we just stumbled about track No. 08 on CD2 – it’s Franco Cinelli’s ‘Program 36′, released earlier this year on Kasper’s Esperanza Records. Baila! Read here on Resident Advisor about the complete CD.
CD2: Mixed by Dorian Paic
01. Zip & Baby Ford – For How Long
02. Lawrence – Organ Track
03. Daniel Bell – Deep Down
04. Cally – Gud Gioc
05. The Martinez Brothers – Issshhh! (Beats)
06. Rio Padice – Mission To Venus
07. Priku – Monday Swing
08. Franco Cinelli – Program 36
On our arrival Paris welcomed us with sunshine and 28° C. The wonderful Hotel Amour located in the very heart of Amelie’s Montmartre & a typical French Cuisine dinner with the guys from Rex prepared us for a stunning night: Paris²! Starting with a very special Esperanza Showcase at Rex with Kasper, Franco Cinelli & Dario Zenker and an outgoing and open crowd we had to come to the first conclusion of this weekend: kind French hosts all over the place (special hugs to Molly & Yakine)!
The second conclusion followed in the noon, when Dario Zenker & Kasper played a back2back2back with Yakine at the TWSTED Sunday party, making the boot together with the Seine shake like a stormy sea: Sundays in Paris can be as fun – or even more – as in London or Berlin. Afterwards the Half Baked Crew from London and the Perlon boys finished this golorious party.
There just remains one comment on this: Chapeau!
And we hope that many of you will join us! Où et quand? If you are in Paris the weekend 06. – 08. of May you got plenty of occasions to:
06. May | Tranquille et calme. Climb on Tour Montparnasse, some sightseeing + beer
07. May | Franco Cinelli, Dario Zenker & Kasper w/ 5 years of Esperanza @ Legendary Rex Club
08. May | TWSTED à bord. Serious Perlon action +++ some special @ Lieu secret
08. May | HELLO Cocobeach opening w/ Julietta, ANA, Violett & Monsieur Pepperpot @ Cocobeach
09. May | TGV + Air France taking us home
So join the Harry Klein Family for a weekend of sun, Seine, blue sky, music and lovely people. Plus que parfait!
What do have D’Julz, Lemos, Arnaud Le Texier, Alex Picone, Chris Carrier, Kasper, Mr. G and – of course – Franco Cinelli have in common? Bingo, they all released on D’Julz imprint Bass Culture Records! Or are about to release: Franco’s Planet Dub EP will soon hit the stores with 3 tracks on vinyl and 4 tracks digitally. More infos on the release are available on Bass Cultures’ Website. Some snippets to listen to can be found on the usuals website (for example here!), in the meantime Franco explains how he produced and compiled this record:
“Usually i don’t sit down to create a whole EP” says Franco. “I sit, cool down and set out to produce individual tracks. Once i have a certain amount I select some, review them, make any final chances and then group them together. But only ever two at a time. This is a special EP.”
