Sometimes life simply can’t be bothered to take the straight and narrow road. Take Julie Andrews: No one knows the countless times she had to schlep up those Salzburg mountains in the last decades while singing her brains out, only to realize in the end that her piece of kitsch cult movie never had made it to austrian cinemas. But now, with the arrival of DVD and Blu-ray versions, the film is gathering momentum in our lovely beer-drinking corner of the alps. (And no, ‘Edelweiss‘ is not Austria’s national anthem.) Seph accomplished the same trick in a lot less time, and in fact we would say that doing it with more style and less yodeling are definite pluses, too. Yes, it’s time for Seph’s US Debut Tour, hitting Detroit yesterday, Chicago tomorrow, and continuing on to New York. From Argentina to Europe and then back to the American Continent – Thumbs up, Mr. Galante, we sure are glad to be with you and your sound of music every unit-waring centimeter/inch/foot of your journey.

Clicking through the depths of discogs we stumbled over this sweet review for Avatism’s debut show last month in NYC for the ReSolute guys. Even though the writer seems to have a certain misconception about DJ- and Live-Set we just say: lovely.

The tan from Miami Beach may start to fade away thanks to the grey European spring, the good memories and the friendships remain! Mr. Caulfield just sent us his impression from this year’s Winter Music Conference! Makes us wait even more yearning for Sonar!
